Ginger married Verlyn Fredrickson in 1960. They lived in Deshler, NE until 1968 when they moved to Fremont, NE. There Ginger began working at a bakery and the whole family became active in Boy Scouts. In 1976 they moved to Lyons, NE where she owned and operated the Lyons Bakery and Café. After selling the business in 1979, Ginger worked as a dietary supervisor at the Logan Valley Manor. During this time, she earned an Associate Degree in dietary services. She began cooking at the Lyons Hiway Café in 1981 and continued working there until her retirement in 2003. She is survived by Verlyn and her four sons; Larry (Misty) of Durango, Co; Bob (Cathy) of Sturgis, SD; Ed (Deana) of Oakland, NE; and Dan (Vicki) of Lyons, NE; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren as well as her sister Judy (Don) Van Matre of Longmont, CO and brother Robert Gebauer of Kenesaw, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson.
